Had first treatment yesterday

Well I had my first dose of Nevalbine yesterday. So far so good. I have been really tired, but no nausea. I have stocked up of stuff for constipation - thanks for the heads up about that. I already have a little problem with that because of the Oxycotin and Dillaudid I take for pain.

I am having a pic line put in next week so that we don't have to start an IV every time. It took 3 tries yesterday. My onc wants a pic line instead of replacing my bad port AGAIN (would be 4th time).

Thanks again for all of the info on Nevalbine,

Stephanie B.

Hi Stephanie,

I'm happy to hear that "so far so good" is where you are at and there is no nausea. GREAT! I pray it continues to go well for you.

Love and hugs,

Mary Jo

Stephanie,

It looks like you're off to a good start with Navelbine. Good luck with the treatment and let us know how it's going.

Joan

I was on Navelbine for almost 18 months, I think you will do well with it. I had a bit of hair thinning but not much. Ceesun

Hi Stephanie!
Just wanted to let you know my Mom was on Navelbine for 2 years and experienced some fatigue and her hair thinned a bit. No nausea or other serious side effects. I hope you will have the same experience,
gentle hugs,marcia
