I talked to the trial coordinator, they said we will know what drugs we are going to get once we are randomized. At that point we are free to decide whether we want to participate at that time.

She has had Xeloda + lapatinib with radiation on her tummy for skin mets and it was brutal with diarrhea and nausea. She had to be hospitalized for that. So they had to stop it and continue with radiation only. After that, they continued with Lapatinib + herceptin. So she basically had Xeloda for only 2 weeks and it was stopped for side effects. Hopefully it will be better now.
