Smile Laser hair removal

Hi:

I am thinking of getting my armpit hair permanently removed by laser. (I kinda LIKED not having to shave while I was on chemo!)

I had a mastecomy 2 years ago. I don't have any lymphadema.

Any comments or cautions on the idea?

Regards,
Merridith

Laser hair removal

It sounds like a bad idea for the RT armpit. The other armpit fine. Lymphodema showed up a few years for me after my mastectomy and why take any chances. I was told to be very careful with my RT side even before my mild lymphodema. I do get manicures which I know I should not. Just my thoughts. Best of luck to you!

Guess, I am lucky as I don't have any hair under my arms or on my legs. I love not having to worry about shaving. I do have hair else where. My hair came back wavy on my head and not quite as much as before but enough so I don't have to wear a wig. I am thinking about having it cut short and spiked on top. Now, how is that for turning 60??? I am sure my friends will freak out but who cares. Haven't told my hubby yet but he usually goes along with what every I want. He probably will say, "its your hair do what you want". As for the laser I don't think I would do it. hugs, Sandy
