Sinus CT

Hello everyone....

I think I shared with you all the sinus issues (or supposed) sinus issues I was having. Long story short.....I went to an ENT was checked out thoroughly and even had a CT of my sinuses..... results..........PERFECT. No sinus troubles whatsoever. That's good news....BUT was kind of hoping that the ache I experience in the back of my head/upper neck was sinus related but it isn't. So....................guess I will mention it to my onc. next week when I go and see him. The good news is that I only experience it sporadically and would assume that if it were brain mets it wouldn't get better some days and hurt me on others. Oh well...what are ya gonna do.......sometimes it seems that if it ain't this it's that.....right?

Well, the good news also....although it was sinus CT concentrating on my sinuses they didn't say they saw anything "bad" anywhere either and I was looking at a few pictures of my entire noggin'

Thanks for listening................

Love & blessings to you my her2 friends,

Mary Jo

Happy day!

Love the good news and your fantastic attitude! I'm from the midwest originally, too and that strong, optimistic outlook is familiar to me.
After so many extreme treatments its hard to know what's a side-effect and what's a symptom...and what's just a common cold.
Stay vigilant and keep in touch.

I know what you mean, it's frustrating to have pain and then they do all these tests and tell you nothings wrong. I have been dealing with that with my gallbladder area and all the nerve problems I've had in my arm. You wish they could find something specific so that they can treat it and make the pain go away. Yours doesn't sound like brain mets to me, maybe allergy headaches or sinus issues...which they say it's not..so go figure....sherryg

I'm happy your sinus scans were ok MaryJo - it IS a nagging worry these strange aches and pains. Have you gone to an orthopedic doctor? Maybe you need an x-ray or mri of your upper spine and neck - could be a slipped or herniated disc (I have that in my lower back.) I hope your onc can help you! I hate ANY cloud to cover your sun-shiny disposition!
