looking for an article on radiation

I posted this earlier under Newcomers, but thought it might make sense to post it here as well.

I believe I read an article posted by a member that had to do with the special nature of HER2 +, its connection to stem cells, and possible proliferation of cancer cells as a result of radiation.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? I'm beginning to think I made it up! Very possibly my anxiety over starting radiation.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Re: looking for an article on radiation

I am replying to myself. I did find the article. It was the one provided by Rich66. It is not specific to HER2+, but does speak to the resiliency of cancer stem cells.

I'm not sure whether this issue is fully resolved but..I remember something some time ago about using Herceptin during radiation to enhance it.

Thanks for the help from everylone.
I have started radiation & femara at the same time & continue with Herceptin. There is some idea that there is a synergistic effect.
