Zoledronic acid showing decrease in Breast cancer Deaths!

Has anyone read about the zo-fast abcsg012 trail? (Zometa)

Long-term results from the ZO-FAST trial it showed a 34% improvement in DFS in postmenopausal breast cancer patients who received zoledronic acid at the same time as the aromatase inhibitor letrozole, compared with women whose treatment with the bone targedted drug did not start until later.

There other results from this trial but I am am not savvy enough with a computer to post the whole thing!

My Hospital "Beaumont" Has a program "Sharing and Caring" that has a Newsletter called "Sharing with Friends" That gives the latest updates on Breast cancer.

I know a lot of us take Zometa treatments and if any one has already read about this trial might post the update.
