A great recipe....

A GREAT RECIPE

1. Take a 10 – 30 minute walk every day. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.
2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day. Talk to God about what is going on in your life.
3. When you wake up in the morning complete the following statement, “My purpose is to
__________today. I am thankful _________”.
4. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants, eat less food that is manufactured.
5. Drink green tea and plenty of water. Eat blueberries, wild Alaskan salmon, broccoli, almond and walnuts.
6. Try to make at least three people smile each day.
7. Don’t waste your precious energy on gossip, issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
8. Life isn’t fair, but it’s still good.
9. Don't waste time hating anyone.
10. Don’t take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
11. Don’t compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
12. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
13. Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.
14. At the end of each day complete the following statements: I am thankful for ____________. Today I accomplished________.
15. When you are feeling down, start listing your many blessings. You’ll be smiling before you know it.

BLESSINGS TO ALL,
Jean

Love it, the other day I snuck outside with a candle to sit by the pool and "meditate", talk to God and just be in silence. Well, my husband hollered for me out the door twice, my dogs kept barking at me and my little girl called out to me "when are you coming inside". Needless to say I got pretty po'd..so much for that. I guess that's why I stay up so late, so that after everyone goes to bed I can have my quiet time...sherryg683

Jean, Thank you for that wonderful post. I need to be reminded daily of all the things I have to be thankful for. You are right, we are all on a journey of some kind...so be kind. Love, Vickie
