weather

Though we didn't get it too bad here, like they originally predicted, I hope that any of you toward the east coast are safe during the storm they say is headed your way.

Smile Its Raining Cats And Dogs

Hi Juanita,

Thanks for checking on us. I am in Brooklyn, New York. It has been pouring for about 12 hours now. There are occasional strong gusts of wind and our lights have flickered a few times. Fortunately, no snow. They are probably getting the snow further up north. Probably the worse part so far is getting my 2 golden retrievers to go out in the yard. They are 9 and 11 and with hyp dysplasia and a few other ailments they are not having it easy. They do love the part where they come back in and I dry them with their big fluffy towels. Then they come back to life and want to play tug of war with the towels.
Hopefully, after this we will have Spring weather. Seems like we don't get too much of that anymore.

Hope you are doing good.

P.S. The little one, (I guess she is your grandaughter is adorable - God Bless)

Sincerely,

Liz J.

Juanita,

I am further north than Liz, No. west Bergen Cty.
18 miles from George Washington Bridge and NYC.

We are having the same heavy rains and I am also drying off my two
dogs with big towels. (They love it)....
Love your photo and the baby is just too cute! Thanks for sharing.

Regards,
Jean

Thoughtful of you to check Jean. I live in the upper mid-west, Wisconsin, and we had a beautiful day. Sunny and 55 degrees. I hope those on the east coast faired alright as well.

They showed some on the news here and are saying that there could be flooding along the coast and blizzards inland. I'm glad I live in tornado alley and not along a coast. Our weather is supposed to warm back up for The Race for the Cure next weekend. I'm thankful for that. The baby is my granddaughter. She looks just like her mommy, grandma and great-grandma when we were all about her age. MaryJo you do not look old enough to be a grandma.

I'm in the mountians of SW Va and we have SNOW! Up to five inches predicted.

Today we had the LARGESTS snow flakes I have ever seen. At least the size of half dollars. Power went out once, but came back on. High winds are predicted for overnight--so I hope we keep power!

Thanks for checking.
