Brain MRI question

I had been having an odd feeling of "pressure" around my temple. Also had one episode of double vision. Onc ordered brain MRI. Meanwhile I am seeing a doc for TMJ type problem and he said he was sure the pressure was from a large facial muscle and was not cancer related. The MRI results are in today. NO evidence of tumor! Yea! BUT, there are "multiple areas of infarction, non-hemorragic." I take this to mean I have had a series of small or "silent" strokes. They were not present on an MRI that I had 5 years ago. I wonder if they are in any way associated with chemo. I have also had elevated BP during this last year or two but it is now controlled with meds. I will be seeing a neurologist asap. But wondered if any of you have experience in this area.
Geez, I was hoping for a small reprieve before having to tackle another problem. Well, like I tell everyone else, I guess I just have to keep the faith.
Thanks for any help...

Bonnie...

I will ask my DH your question when he gets to work. He runs the imaging department at an MS Center. I am not sure how much he will be able to tell me, but I will try.

Hang in there!

I had an MRI last year that showed similar areas. The nurologist explained that it was all normal and anyone over 30 years old would have these areas and there was no need for treatment. Let us know what your nurologist says. It will be interesting to see if there is a difference.
