Hi Ladies, thought I would bring you up to date, and for those who think they can't go on, read on. I saw my Heart Specialist today at the major hospital following up from my heart failure in October. Well she was a lovely American Doctor, I am in Australia, who actually wanted me to tell her my WHOLE history leading up to the BC in 1998, and she listened. The outcome was that I told her everything, I have an overlapping connective tissue disease,(Sjrogens, SLE) Hashimotos Thyroid, Heart Failure with a Left Mitral Valve that needs replacing, a Fractured Left shoulder which needs reconstruction, and now the cause of Lymphoedema,(I never had it up until the fracture) previously treated with Celebrex which also contributed to the Heart Failure, and lets not forget the big BC with mets to my neck at the moment, which I have just finished radiation, results have been slower than previous reoccurences. She told me that my heart was one of the better of the bad ones and that I could withstand aneasthetic, the big question was in what order, so she is communicating with the Plastics Surgeon, Heart Surgeon and Shoulder Surgeon who is only in Australia for 6 months, shame it can't all be done at once but never mind, it remains on if they crack my chest open for the tissue valve replacemnt will it compromise my other surgery when I have tissue damage. None of my heart problems were caused by Herceptin which shows my left ventricle working at 61%, so over all I am not only complicated I still manage to have a smile, I have to admit that with the shoulder pain, and loss of arm movement, considering that after my radical mastectomy I had managed to get the use of my arm just about back to normal, without any lymphoedema, some days I have to have double anti-depressants so I can get to sleep, but the secret is I think is that I do make sure I have a good nights sleep, and not worry about anything, no matter how much you worry, worry doesn't solve the problem. If I have forgotten anything I will fill you in.

Love and Hugs
