to all the smarty pantses

Has anyone heard of human trials with what is called SiRNA treatment. A microbiologist friend of mine was saying she thought that would be 'the bomb' in cancer treatment. So I was starting to investigate where it is in relation to being a real treatment or is it still in vitro/vivo stages.
