Wal Mart Rx program - $4/month?!

Hello,

I can't believe that I'm writing about something good at WalMart. Did you know that they have a prescription drug program that offers many common medications for $4/month or $10/90 days? Tamoxifen is on the list.

Except in the case where Tamoxifen has failed, AI's are just not that much better than Tamoxifen. If cyp2d6 is normal, they may not be any better at all. And look at the cost difference!

There is a disclaimer about existing prescription plans so I'm not sure if this applies if, for example, you already have a $25 copay for your meds. Is anyone taking advantage of this program, and if so - can you tell us how it's working for you?

Thumbs up

Hey Deb, my Mom is using the program to get her Tamoxifen from Walmart and she is besides herself with happiness. With Dad being so disabled this is going to allow her to save money each month. Pennies make dollars! (wink). In fact, Mom was the one to just tell me about this even though Ed is on Faslodex now. Happy saving>>Believe51

PS: And she had no trouble with her current plan. Hope this applies to many others!
