Mother's Day...

To All The Dear and Special Mom's,

I want to send a Special Mother's Day wish to all of you.
May God Bless and protect us - may he continue to give us
the strength to remain strong.

Your families must know already how special each and everyone of you are.
I hope that all of you are "Spoiled" and "Pampered" all day long.

Fondly,
Jean

Happy Mother's Day

I hope everyone on here is being pampered some and enjoying all the love they can from those they mother. Whether our children are biologic, adopted, step, four legged or our friends at times doesn't matter. Women take care of so many and so much. WE are the mothers to ourselves as well. So today should be celebrated by all.

When I was a kid I used to say, "there sould be a 'kid's day'" and my mom would always say that the other 364 days of the year were kids' days. Last night my family was all together and my brother-in-law who has no human kids, said there should be a kid's day and without even thinking I blurted out, "The other 364 days ARE kids' days." And...I meant it. Crazy this "full circle" business, isn't it.

Anyway, I LOVE being a mama to my kids, my cats, our puppy, our old dog, my friends' kids and my friends so the other 364 days are pretty great.

Oh, another funny thing...One mother's day my friend had a house full of sick people. Husband and 2 kids were throwing up and crabby and I was expressing my sympathy and she said, "Well this is what a REAL mother's day is like. The only thing to complete it would be a trip to the emergency room." And thankfully that didn't happen that day. But it is true that is a REAL mother's day.

However I hope we all spend ours a little more joyously. I'm headed out for brunch at our local best restaurant with my family and I gotta get ready.

LOVE TO YOU ALL!

Joy my 9 year daughter said the same thing about how there should be a special day for kids like there is for Mothers and Fathers and I told her that everyday is a day that parents celebrate having their children.

Today my children and I spent time with my Mother (Sheila) and her husband, my sister her husband and her 3 children, my brother his wife and their daughter. We all brought food to Mom's house and had a wonderful get together.
