They usually need to lift up your head for 'full rotation'.... harder in my case, with a much shorter neck. Hence, my back became 'curved' on the machine bed. They got rid of the original machine parts for the head (lift too high) and replaced with something else.
Also into the first 10 minutes of the visit, after putting it on, I 'forgot' about the screw attachment on the headframe before the MRI & gamma, etc). I gave myself a pep talk and just went for it. I was actually surprised at myself.
My only main thought throughout the whole procedure was just trying to be relaxed & calm, let the team move me without tensing up, so that I would not feel more aches / sores afterwards.
