Good news! Thank you, Jeff

Just returned from the oncologist and thanks to input from the board and especially some ideas sent to me by Jeff, we are going to continue the herceptin for the full year. Oncol. originally wanted to stop in Sept (6 months since I don't have mets..I'm stage IIIA) I feel so confident that this is working to keep the wolf away from the door:-) Thanks for your help!!! Without you it wouldn't have happened!

Thanks for the kind words--what a nice surprise. It seems that more and more oncologists are giving Herceptin off-protocol for a year as adjuvant treatment...I think the news out of ASCO in June (about the neoadjuvant M.D. Anderson trial)was the real clincher.
Judy, I'm so glad your oncologist agreed to going the whole year...
