Disturbing Posts

I truly do believe that we all do take time out from our busy lives to pray for one another in someway each day.

With this thought in mind , after reading so many disturbing posts these past 2 weeks, I was wondering if we all might start a Prayer Chain.
I am asking if we could set aside a few minutes next Sunday Jan. 22 at 3 pm EST and collectively lift our hearts and voices to our greater being, asking that each of us receive the answers we are hoping for.
He couldn't fail but to hear us then.

We will be one in prayer....

What a nice thought, Maryanne. Together we can pray for guidance, wisdom, strength and peace. As we combine our prayers, we can envision each other as healthy, happy, secure and with peace of mind, while giving thanks that answers to prayer come in the perfect way and in the right time for each and every one of us.

"Beloved, pray for us." 1 Thessalonians 5:25

It's on my calendar.

That is a great idea I will mark my calendar to do this. We truly do have lots to be thankful if we are still here. There are so many here in need of healing. Prayer is powerful so let do it. hugs, Sandy

Maryanne, what a powerful idea! You seem to always be thinking of others, and add so much to this site. I'll be there for sure

A great idea! I know we do pray for each other at different times, but a specific, united time should have great power. Count me in! Tricia

I'm in, but plan on doing it everyday at 3:00 EST (12:00 PST). I am better with a daily routine.

My prayer request is simple - I pray for complete healing and that the right and perfect treatment plan appears for each of us.

I have faith we can all be miraculously healed!

With love-
Tami

Thumbs up Awesome Idea...

I thought of this a couple of times, but never had the "courage" to approach it, thank you for speaking up. It would be nice if Joe could "sticky" a prayer request post so that when any of us are in need of prayer, we can just post it for everyone to pray on. I just printed it, but unfortunately will be out of town and w/out a computer, but I will still pray w/ you in spirit at 3. Yes, there are several that need "added power" right now.

Rhonda

Thank you Mary Anne,

Just this past Monday, my yoga group of freinds prayed for specific people and then everyone with BC. at a spefic time and I know at least one prayer that was answered.
It is very up lifting with outstanding results. I am IN>

There is a lot of women who are going through hard battles and others who worry about test results because they have symptoms of possibly metting. A site for prayer requests I think is great.

Red face

I too have felt the medical burdens of so many here lately on this forum and think the time of prayer is just what we need. Thanks for the idea.

The Power of Prayer

Count me in too, I am a firm believer in the power of prayer.

"And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." Mathew 21:22

I, too, believe in prayer in all things. I try to remember to ask for His will, not mine, which is very hard to do at times. But I do believe that nothing happens in God's world by mistake. My PCP suggested I quit reading these posts as I spend a lot of time crying for those with greater heartbreak than mine, but in this she is wrong! I will be here and I will continue to cry and to pray and remember "God's will, not mine".
Love & prayers for all,
Marlys

Maryanne,

I have been praying so much lately...I will mark the time and date on my calendar. I pray for a miracle for my sister. She has been in hospital for 4 months now....slowly slipping away. I check the posts here daily, in hopes that there is some miracle drug introduced. I feel the pain that so many other family members are feeling, and I am saddened every time a member receives disappointing news...I will pray for all of you and for my sister and her family,
