I had a fever and flu like symptoms the first few doses of Herceptin DM1. Not quite as high, but I usually run very cool (in the 97's) so for me a fever of 101 was high. Granted, this was not "pure" herceptin, but when I called the doctor, she responded that since the herceptin is an antibody, it's not unusual to have a fever. She felt it was due to the "herceptin" piece, not the DM1. Mine responded well to ibuprofen but it did hang on a few days.
I also didn't remember having this the first time on herceptin, but then I got it with chemo so I might not have been thinking clearly!
