Faslodex

I justed started Faslodex along with a second round of Herceptin. Has anyone else had experience with Faslodex?

Dear Janet

There are 2 members who have used Faslodex. One is Susan (member name is just Susan - no initials) and the other is Joy. You should privately message them for their experiences with Faslodex as sometimes some of us don't come on the board for a couple of weeks at a time because of work or vacation.

For the record, Dr. Slamon (inventor of Herceptin) says that he feels Faslodex is the way to go for Her2 women who are also ER+. It is his anti-hormonal of choice.

I Took Faslodex For About 9 Months. I Did Not Notice Any Side Effects At All. Sometimes I Had Some Bruising At The Injection Site.

Hi Janet,

I also had the faslodex shots for about a year. Other than the shots being uncomfortable, I did not experience any side effects.
