Popping in to say," Hi."

Hey there, fellow Her2 warriors! I have a friend who was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and is now in treatment. Lisa was the first person to know I was diagnosed with breast cancer having happened to call right after I got the news. We cried together that day. Lisa was a faithful supporter of my journey. Now, I support her in hers. Ah, life...

I haven't been on this site in a long time. Lisa's journey pulled me back to cancerville and got me thinking of all of you. It was sad to see we lost Andi and Flori. Boy, were those two mega fighters! Sheila's Jen was a shock. Goodness. I am still sifting through years of posts.

I am doing well having been blessed to live to see my 64th birthday thanks to Vit H! My days are filled with gardening and working my farmette. I enjoy hard, physical work. It is good for the mind, body and soul. I have found a time released version of Turmeric, which I credit to tamping down the soreness that accompanies time. It, and daily Tarte Cherry, keep me moving.

These past 15 years since my diagnosis have seen me launch my 3 children, bury my parents, and mark my 34th wedding anniversary. Much to my impatience, I am still awaiting grandchildren! I am grateful for each day and feel blessed indeed.

To those new to the journey, I wish you Godspeed. There is life beyond cancer. Fight and never forget to live. Finally, do not permit anyone to write your story. No one knows your future but God Almighty. That includes YOU!

Wishing you all health and great happiness always!
