Re: Milk Thistle May Counter Chemo Liver Damage

Great article. Milk thistle has been used for quite some time to help repair liver damage from excessive use of drugs and alcohol (even prescription drugs and tylenol can damage the liver). So it makes sense that it could help repair damage done by chemo as well. I know it's also included in many detoxes to rid the liver of toxins. I say it's definitely worth adding into your daily regime if it could help.

Wink Re: Milk Thistle May Counter Chemo Liver Damage

I have taken milk thistle every day since my diagnosis. I never had abnormal liver enzymes on my blood tests and haven't had liver mets so far.
