Having chocolate for birthday...

Been sleeping odd hours because the thalamus (in charge of the sleep-wake cycle) has been affected by one of the Central Neurocytomas in my brain. So I woke up at 2:30 am and ate a big bowl of oatmeal (with milk, strawberries, orange, black berries, yogurt, raisins, walnuts, and banana) Did make an extra bowl for hubby who happened to wake up from the recliner in Father-in-law's living room.

Then I noticed it's actually my birthday! So I opened the small heart-shaped box from Valentine and gobbled down one of the five pieces... Happy birthday to me!

Did remember to take the last of the 10 antibiotic capsules prescribed by the PA five days ago...

My In-laws birthdays are also in February - my late MIL's birthday is actually a day ahead of mine (though 33 years apart), so we used to always celebrate together. Sister-in-law has arranged a 90th Birthday Celebration for FIL Saturday in the Community Center just around the corner of his house. We are expecting 100 family/relatives/neighbors/friends ...

Since mine won't be part of that celebration, guess hubby and I will have some Chinese take out today when we get back to town ...

Dear Jackie,

I haven't been around the forum as much and am sorry I missed this when you posted this in February. I hope you had a stupendous birthday and that this year ahead is one of joy and lovely surprises for you.

Thanks for all the effort you make in posting research and your kindness in being there and supporting others.

Is your sleep better these days?

Paula

Re: Having chocolate for birthday...

Jackie, I'm sorry too, that I missed your birthday. I echo the thoughts that you are so helpful researching, and reaching out to others. So I hope you had a good birthday (I love the sound of the breakfast you made, I think I will try to emulate that tomorrow, yum!). And I hope you have a great day TODAY!
Dawn xxx
