Re: Hail Mary Pass - dropped the ball

The wait is on purpose - they wanted to give a 2 month interval between scans. I think it's a bit under 2 months but I'm not going to point it out.

I couldn't go to work today because I had such horrible pain in my stomach. Nausea too, that I couldn't control with zofran or compezine. I had a miserable night and was sure I was going to end up in the ER. But, the nausea and pain eased up so I'm back on track. I have herceptin today too.

I have no idea if this pain is part of c-diff or not. It came on at the time c-diff came and was a part of my early symptoms. The diarrhea was the last. and I am normal in that arena, at least.

It feels like I got stabbed in there. But, with all the scans I've had, they would have found it. I just wish I could recover. I am starting to think I won't and this is it, I have to give my job up.

Re: Hail Mary Pass - dropped the ball

You still have some time to recover and get back on your feet before you decide to give up your job. Do what you can, Ann. Work is a great distraction from this disease, but if it's too much, it's too much. Hopefully, the c-diff will subside, your pain will diminish, you'll feel better, and your scans will be wonderful!
