it was great. Baptism was almost an hour long. Father made it super special. still cannot believe this miracle baby. I want to hold him all day and night.

You go ahead and hold him all you can. Before you know it, he'll be 18 and leaving home for college!!! (Although both mine still try to sit in my lap!!)

I am so happy for you to have this miracle child. His birth is truly an affirmation of life.

That was a day worth waiting for, eh?? Makes the wonderful birth all that much more real and final. Babies are good for lots of smiles and laughter!

Very happy for you and your hubby.

My nephew and his wife are finally able to keep a baby to full term, but they lost EVERYTHING (including their 2 cats) in an arson fire 2 weeks ago. My niece and a friend threw a huge shower yesterday in which many people in the community participated. With all the help from Red Cross and donations from family and strangers, they are more than well set now! Jen and David barely escaped with their night clothes on!

Baby due in a week or so. More miracles happening!

This is just too good not to pass on to all. Something absolutely positive for a change. I have repeatedly seen the breakdown of the cost of raising a child, but this is the first time I have seen the rewards listed this way. It's nice.

The government recently calculated the cost of raising a child from birth to 18 and came up with $160,140.00 for a middle income family. Talk about price shock! That doesn't even touch college tuition.

But $160,140.00 isn't so bad if you break it down. It translates into:
