Make A Wish...Dreams Come True

Many of you here might remember countless times my little grandaughter Jasmine has been gravely ill...she has fought all her life with various heart, lung, kidney and now spinal issues. She was nominated for a make a wish trip last year, and was to go in October but became very ill. Last week, her dream came true, and she was off to Disney World in Florida. The pilot let her sit in the cockpit and pretend she was flying the plane in Chicago, and she was treated like royalty the whole time. One of the most touching moments was at Give kids the World Village, where they stayed, when she wrote her name on a Mirror Star that was then placed on the wall to be forever a part of the "Castle of Miracles" at Give kids the World. She was also given a star to take with her, to remind her that SHE is a star, and miracles do happen.
All the children got to celebrate Christmas while there, as many may not make it for another Christmas.
This whole experience she was involved in brought tears tomy eyes and hope in my heart...I remeber when she was born at madigan in Washington State, the specialists said she would be lucky to make 1 year...well she is now 13, and although she has some hurdles ahead, she is truly a miracle.....and miracles do happen.
Here is Jasmine with Peter Pan and Flying the 737
