How long for receptor test?

I'm still waiting almost two weeks after my biopsy. Is this normal? I don't remember it taking this long the first time.

Re: How long for receptor test?

I don't think it should take that long...might make sense to call your doctor.

Re: How long for receptor test?

I know it took about 2 wks for my last biopsy. I don't know why it takes so darned long...but it does.

Re: How long for receptor test?

The dr called today. The first pathologist found it to be cancer but couldn't determine if it was breast. The second pathologist thought it might not be cancer. Now my slides have been sent to Stanford University for further review.

So .... I continue to wait. Thank God for my kids who keep me so busy.
