Vaccine trial

Hello everyone!
A new update from the Her 2 vaccine trial in San Antonio. I have just finished the 6th vaccine series. I have had an easy time of it. Every time the injection site would get slightly more irritated and red, but never severe. No long lasting side effects at all. Of course it is a blind study, everyone gets GSM, but the other peptides are randomized. Each time I became slightly sore, flu like the first day, but by the next morning i woke up feeling great. We are followed for 3 years and I will have the reactive skin test next month, then boosters at 12, 18, 24, and 30 months.
All I can hope is it will give me some extra protection from the Her 2 beast! AND hopefully see a true vaccine in the future!
Hugs to yu all,
Elizabeth

Wink Re: Vaccine trial

Hi Elizabeth - And thanks for the news.

The vaccine club here is expanding. Keep us posted on how the rest of the follow ups go. I know I got the vaccine and the immune booster, and hope you did too.

Re: Vaccine trial

Yes a Harvard study report told us that vaccine more effective than chemo and side effect of it low. Yet it is study label, so it has need more study.
