Carboplatin - Isn\'t there anyone else out there on Carbo

Hi - I have been watching most of the boards on other subjects at least every other day. Is this treatment that new that no one else has any in put. I really would love to hear from more people since this is so new for me and I think others. Have had good scan results from it so I at least others should ask their onc's about it.

I'm currently on carboplatin/taxotere and herceptin for BC. Seventeen years ago I was fighting ovarian cancer but I didn't want to take cisplatin because of the possible side effects from it. I was able to get carbo from Canada and was given that with cytoxin and a couple of rounds of adrymiacin (my EF finally got too low for adrymiacin). I never had a recurrence of ovarian cancer so I assume that it was successful. I just hope to God that it'll be successful for me again!
