I failed to see the part about the Her2 pathway. AM I missing something? or did the entire link fail to appear?

The VEGF pathway is entwined with the Her2/EGFR pathways. H. Pylori was the main topic of discussion on last Sunday's moderated talk in this site's chatroom (Topic was causes of Her 2 BC). H. Pylori can, in certain circumstances, travel to other parts of the body besides the stomach (where it causes gastric ulcers). This article states it interfers with the VEGF (vascular epithethal grow factor pathway part of the Human epithethal pathway (HER) and when it does so, causes cancer.

Because of the chat last week, when I saw this on ASCO, our discussion became much more meaningful and interesting (as well as thought provoking that a bacteria could be the cause of Her2).

Best regards

Becky
