Wink different question

You should be able to get some information at http://www.arimidex.com.
Most drug companies have websites devoted to their most popular drugs. Just take the name of the drug and add the prefix and .com suffix.
Take care.

Arimidex

Thanks to Elaine M for the information...I did check their website and they don't say anything about hair loss so I thought that if I talked to women who are taking it , they might know..My oncologist says the hair loss is due to the Arimidex, but I wanted to be sure...

The AI (Arimidex, Femara) etc. take their toll by depleting the estrogen...the loss of estrogen is what is thinning out the hair. This and bone loss is another issue, along with muscle mass.

Hair loss can be a side effect for some people although having taken arimidex for two years I haven't thankfully had this problem.
Some ladies have requested a change to femara or aromasin which has helped though.

I've been off aromatase inhibitors for one month. I sleep through the night now. I'm out around 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next morning. While on the AIs I would wake up in the middle of the night, just about every night. Sometimes I could get back to sleep, often not. I will likely go back on AIs and I'm not looking forward to sleep problems.
