I read your post regarding you wife's abalation and that she has been NED since last year. I am so happy to hear that. I had mine done last Sept/2003 and was on Xeloda since November. We just found out that the tumor is back again. The strange thing is that they burned a good margin around that first tumor and it is back in the same area. I am scheduled to have surgery again but this we are going to resect that portion of the right lobe. Hopefully this will stop that sucker.
My question is, was your wife given any chemo after her procedure other then Herceptin for preventative measures?
Hope she continues to do well. My case was rare to have come back in the same spot. Who knows.
