Rozebud,

My thoughts have a different take. To date, nobody knows what heals one person's cancer and not another's. Certainly tumor characteristics play a role, genetic factors, treatment, etc. So here's my thought:

Should your mother's cancer recur, regardless of what she does or doesn't do to prevent it, she will no doubt be crushed like any of us would be. If she believes that her diet can make a shift in her body, I see no harm in letting her believe this. Why? Because it just may be true. Many people HAVE seen nutrition do wonderful things. And faith in one's treatment is hugely important.

Like I said, if she changes her diet and the cancer recurs, she will be shocked and scared. If she DOESN'T change her diet and the cancer recurs, she will be shocked and scared. She should do what she believes now. Then if it DOES recur, at least she'll have the comfort of knowing she did everything she could to prevent it.

Love and light,

Lisa
