Actually, Kathy, what I want to prove is not that changing diet can't help, but that if you DRASTICALLY change your diet, you are pretty much guaranteed prevention of a recurrance. My mother is convinced that if I only eat organic and no sugar and supplements, my cancer won't come back. I agree, it can't hurt, but to strictly adhere means so sugar at all, no eating out, etc.

I believe in everything in moderation. Right now I'm doing one sweet per day (as opposed to at least 2 before), several more veggies than before, buying organic milk all the time, and chicken when I can, multivitamins, etc. Anything much more than that is going to really make me sad because I enjoy food so much! If I knew it would bump my chances up significantly, of course I would go on a strict diet. I just haven't seen any evidence that is the case, and don't want her to have unrealistic expectations if I recur. Does that make sense?
