new trial Omnitarg and Herceptin (Canada)

I just got word I qualify for this study. I did a search on the board and read a few posts! Hoping this will be a good trial for me....It at least keeps me off the chemo wagon for at least 6 weeks, if it shows no stability or improvement, they take you off after 2 cycles, so in my opinion, it's worth trying!!

(I am still recovering from my septic shock incident and really only had one round of chemo for mets, so I still have alot of tricks in the bag), but my body is just not entirely ready to be knocked completely down, so I thank God for this trial (was the last one assigned and met all the criteria)!

Will post more as I go!

Robyn
xx

Good luck Robyn in Canada. I hope the trial has great results.I always was interested in how trials without chemo and only targeted drugs would go. Personally, it seems logical that targeted drugs alone would be the preferred approach to nip things in the bud.

Wow, Robyn, that's great. Hope you get good results from this, and thanks for being a pioneer and bringing to light another possible treatment option.

Robyn,
I wish you the best of luck. This seems to be a very promising combination.
