Digital tomosynthesis improves cancer detection in women with dense breasts

A major new study being presented at the annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) has found that digital breast tomosynthesis, also known as 3-D mammography, has the potential to significantly increase the cancer detection rate in mammography screening of women with dense breasts.

Re: Digital tomosynthesis improves cancer detection in women with dense breasts

The general public has been so thoroughly hoodwinked by the big business of orthodox medicine that few understand that an increase in breast cancer detection does N O T mean less deaths from breast cancer.

Increased breast cancer detection through the 3D mammogram technology leads to increased overdiagnosis and increased radiation exposure -dense breasts or not. Meaning many more healthy women get seriously hurt, including killed, from the use of mammography and its subsequent toxic cancer treatments.

There is no evidence that 3D mammography reduces mortality from breast cancer in a significant way, this is also true for standard mammography (read: 'Mammography Screening: Truth, Lies and Controversy' by Peter Gotzsche and 'The Mammogram Myth' by Rolf Hefti - more at TheMammogramMyth dot com).

There is a poor recognition among women that almost all "scientific" studies in favor of mammography are conducted and funded by people/groups with strong vested interests linked to the mammogram business. This new study is no exception: the study's lead author, Per Skaane has reported to receiving financial support from Hologic which is a manufacturer of 3D imaging technology.

The huge bias - and corruption - is obvious.
