I did not see that as I was busy going to my cancer survivors exercise group!
We had this topic on the board not long ago and most all who replied NEVER had a weight problem prior to their diagnosis. Maybe it is Her-2+ women only who have no weight problem??
I have put on about 15 pounds in the 3+ years since diagnosis. I did ok with the first round of treatments and rads - it is during the really tough second round that the weight crept on.
My med onc also mentioned the supressed hormone levels and lowered metabolism. He said to make sure the food I eat "counts" (meaning to avoid "empty" calories) and NOT to worry about the few extra pounds, that I may need it to run on if I have to fight again.
BTW - I weigh about 138 and am 5'5".
