In addition to being cautioned about too much exercise during the 48 hours before a scan, the tech I've seen most often doesn't even like me to hold my book or turn the pages while I'm in the post-injection uptake phase!

he even checks on me to see that my head is resting on the back of the chair so that I am not straining my neck

I've promised not to bring in huge 600 page hard-covers - but I have brought in paper-backs and try to limit my arm motion when turning the pages - I have joked with him that page-turning services are something the hospital should consider offering

I am glad he's on top of things - I didn't realize not all techs were - I should thank him next time
