good news

The lady I work with who was recent;y diagnosed with liver and cancer was in on Monday. I didn't really have time to talk to her, but she looked a lot better than she did the last time she was in. They did something that drained a lot of the fluid out of her liver and she lost twenty pounds in three days because there was so much fluid. She was wanting to come back to work part time next week. Getting tired of being at home. And my own good news is I went for a check-up today with my onc. My tumor markers were down from right before I finished herceptin in June. He said that everything is looking good. I saw the other post about rbc and mine are still down. White was down a little too this time, but I've been fighting a cold from this wonderful Indiana weather and thought maybe that was why. I go back in three months.
