Refractory liver cancer:promissing selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT)

Mid-term results in otherwise treatment refractory primary or secondary liver confined tumours treated with selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) using (90)Yttrium resin-microspheres

Note: the SIRT therapy consists in injecting the radio active microspheres (in this case as a single injection) into the hepatic artery via a subcutaneous port.
