Does anyone know if high intensity frequency ultrasound is different from liver ablation? Does anyone know what it is?
Thanks.
Hugs,
Kathy

Hi Kathy-
HIFU is High Frequency ULTRASOUND & I think you are referring for Radio Frequency Ablation(RFA-There are a number of women on this site who have had successful RFA).They are different, one is ultrasound & the other radiation.
I'll email you all the info I have, including an article from a Seattle newspaper & the contact info for the HIFU clinical trial at Oxford (it's not approved in the US).
Please feel free to email me directly @jmalucas4@aol.com.
Take good care, praying for you...
Jessica
