Dear Friends, I see references to A2 alelle testing and am wondering what the importance of this test is? Should I persue such testing (have access to a fine Genetics lab) before beginning Herceptin in the nexty few weeks?
Additionally I am confused as to whether or not Tamoxifen as opposed to Arimidex is the drug of choice for my hormone status?
I am Her2+++ (status confirmed by FISH and HercepTest) ER/PR 90% Stage 2B,one positive node,grade 3 tumor. Just completed A/C +T dose dense. Will be starting Tamoxifen also.
