Re: Breast Cancer Survival Defined by the ER/PR/HER2

Gail,

As a Californian who is included in the data - I appreciate that you posted it.

I am scratching my head at the way the data was interpreted. It seems full of contradictions. I'm reading, and will re-read this to make sure I fully understand.

Meanwhile in the digesting of the information I realized that Her2+ Stage I - Stage III started receiving Herceptin mid 2007. What other major changes to treatment occurred in this decade?

The numbers are interesting, but are they valid for the Her2 population? My guess is no - since it appears 2/3s of the data is prior to Herceptin for early stage breast cancer.

I expect that as a group, the current Her2 stats are even better.
