Half way down this article they mention a HER2/neu patient that declined chemo type treatment and took this copper inhibitor. It worked at first and then they added Herceptin to the mix. It stabalized her. Little to no side effects. This copper inhibitor starves the tumors.

According to the NIH website a phase II trial is being conducted using this against a type of liver cancer for which there is no other treatment. Let's hope it works well for them so it will be tried out against other cancers as well. It almost sounds too good to be true.
