My brothers angel

Just wanted to post this because I think it's always encouraging to hear these types of things happen, that we do not die alone. My sister and I have been praying that the Lord send someone, an angel to comfort my brother and let him know he was not alone. Yesterday morning, my brother called my mother in his room and wanted to know who that lady was, that had been hanging around his room all evening . My mother told him that there was no one but her at home and he hadn't had any visitors. He told her yes he had, that this woman was with with him and she sure had stayed a long time. We kind of laughed because my brother was always very private and didn't like people in his room or hanging around too long, we said whoever she was, i'm sure he was wishing she would go away and leave him alone. My mother took it that he was hallucinating but my sister and I are convinced that it was his spirit guide or angel, coming to sit with him so that he wouldn't be by himself...sherryg683

Our (my husband and I) favorite movie is "It's a wonderful life". Angels do exist - either around us as our dearest friends or in spiritual form. I am sure it is comforting for your brother to have the angel with him.

My son loves that movie. And I agree i've heard this hapening before. Had a cousin that swore as she was dying George Washington and Abe Lincoln were there, and she died singing the Battle hymn of the Republic.

Sherry...I believe....when my Mom was end stage she would tell me she "had" to go home and see her Mom and Dad...I know she was not alone for her final journey.

Thinking of you and wishing you peace and comfort,
Marcia

Hi Sherry,

Thanks for sharing that part of your brother's journey with us also. Not a doubt in my mind that God sent one of His angels to be with your brother and to lead him Home.

God's comfort and peace be with you today.

Sherry,

I have a similar story....my maternal grandmother died of cervical cancer and the young age of 31. By the time they figured out what was wrong with her she had mets and didn't have any treatment. Back in those days, they administerd O2 in those large tents. My mom remembers her Mother being very still for the past two weeks and right before she passed, she said her Mom sat straight up and threw off the big O2 tent with force and said "the clouds are opening up and Jesus is taking me home". She then laid right down and took her last breath. Still gives me the chills.

Angels

Sherry, I too believe in angels. I have a collection of them and they all have names. I am so happy that your brothers came for him to lead the way. After my son passed away, the hallway clock stopped chiming and you could feel the coolness of a breeze. My son was a big tease and to this day he comes after me in little ways. Your brother is now at peace Sherry and you can rest easy , knowing you did all you could to help him. Hugs and Blessings , Jeanette

Before my grandfather died he would see gardens in the corner of the room. He told us how beautiful they were and would be upset that we couldn't see them also. I believe he was seeing heaven.

Sherry, it sounds like your brother is in very good hands. I believe we all have our guardian angels. Your brother was just very lucky to be able to see his.
