I took Estratest, the hormone replacement drug mentioned in this article as significantly raising the risk of breast cancer, for three years, but had discontinued it for two years before developing my grade 3, ER+, HER2+ breast cancer.

This article leaves open the question of whether it raises risk of breast cancer or recurrence if we take testosterone (I take a low dose). All the studies I have seen so far have conflicting results. Some say no added risk, others say yes, added risk.
