Re: Joe's Family

Joe's family is learning how to live without him. It is hard because he was so caring and also did so much for "his girls". They are coping but it is hard.

Christine is plunging herself into the group from the organizational end. She is putting her efforts into this as Joe did most of the back room work. With SABCS coming up in early December, there is certainly alot to do right now.

The girls are back to work or school. It is difficult but they are making it through.

Re: Joe's Family

I believe that there is some support in place, and things are being handled as they come up.

Most of us who would love to lend a helping hand are so far away from the San Diego area.

My grandmother once told me that becoming a widow was truly the hardest thing that ever happened to her.

I think of Chris each and every day.

Re: Joe's Family

I too think of them on a daily basis. Being single, I can only image how hard it must be.

This site must be a second blessing for Christine as it is helping to ease some of the pain and loneliness she is experiencing. I wish there was something I could do to help
