Anyone in these shoes?

All of this time I have been treated for her2+ disease and saw a new oncologist last week who thinks I am triple negative - - has anyone had this happen?

Your best bet is to get copies of your pathology reports, check with your surgeon and/or your first oncologist. Get the pathology from any biopsy as well as the complete pathology from the lump/mastectomy. Look for yourself at er/pr as well as her2 status.

Jill's oncologist is very good at giving copies of everything to her. We do not even ask... the Dr. thinks it is good for all of her patients to have their own copies.

You can also have your tumor tested or retested by different methods. My slides etc. were sent to Sloan Kettering for a second opinion. You might do something similar.

I agree with Janet and did the same thing. Make sure you insist that the second lab actually redo the ER, PR and Her2 (sometimes they don't do this part again and rely on the results from the first lab - Sloan actually did this to me and then they had to redo).
