Vit D a must to ward off cancer

Well, we've discussed on these boards how vit D is a benefit at warding off bc and bc relapse. Looks like a lack of vit D may be very dangerous... http://www.abstract.asco.org/AbstView_55_31397.html
Frequency of vitamin D (Vit D) deficiency at breast cancer (BC) diagnosis and association with risk of distant recurrence and death in a prospective cohort study of T1-3, N0-1, M0 BC.

Well, stock up on your vitamin D folks.

Thumbs up

Hi Robin.

This reminds me of the days when sailors didn't get enough vitamin C on long travels and people learned that something as simple as lemons and limes carried on the journey do prevent major disease like scurvy.

For something so key that can be had so easily, I certainly hope that testing for vitamin D level will become standard practice for annual exams.
