Hate to ask, but I need prayers

Friends,

I hate to ask, but I could use everyone's prayers. Perhaps I'm jumping the gun, but I'm really afraid that today's PETSCAN (where I threw up all over myself while driving there) is going to reveal some bad news. I've been fighting liver mets for 3+ years now, and I think they've decided to fight back with a punch.

I'll report my results tomorrow.

Love and light,

Lisa

Lisa,
Never hate to ask for prayers. Sometimes I think we have it backwards - we say "all we can do is pray" as if that is a small thing.

You most certainly have my prayers, with much love

You Got It

Dear Lisa -
Every good wish for the Almighty's help for you. We know that you hve been battling as hard as anyone can. Are your liver functions up or other blood work changing?

This disease is the pits, and I know HOW NERVOUS I was before my CT scan today. Had my visit with new med onc and so had "the works" to start fresh with her. Took forever for her to come to my room, as I had only seen the practicioner who had examined me. I was just sure there was some problem cropping up. Turned out that they were just double checking with the radiologist to make sure. All is well, as the two spots they see are stable.

Wink Always ask

Dear Lisa,

Chrisy nailed it with her post. We should always ask for prayers from others. The power of of combined prayers is incredible, as it is a display of faith by our Creator's children. It says, "We know You are there, we know You love us, and we put ourselves in Your loving hands."

I have seen the power of prayer first hand on several occasions in my life, and it never fails to leave me in complete awe. And if the news tomorrow is less than "good", it is part of His plan for you. Except it, whatever it may be, and leave the hard stuff for Him. Have faith and continue to trust that He is in control. I will pray for you after I send this post. God Bless you and keep you Lisa.

Sincerely,
Tom

Lisa, you are the bravest person I know. I'm so shy I could never be the human pink ribbon. Said my prayers. I think they have swear words in them right about now. God is love. I am so hoping all works out. Just found out one of my triple neg friends has mets. So sad.
