~An Update On My Daddy~
Just a quick update on my Father. Although we have not got to the bottom of the seizure we did find out several things.
Yes, he did have a heart attack. They found 3 blockages and managed to unblock 2. The third one the did have to do a catherization for. I seen the before and after pictures....whew.
The doctor who performed the procedure was the same Cardiologist my Dad used before his illness made him have to change hospitals. He came out to tell Mom how he was after the procedure. Quote: "We just saved this man from a major heart attack, the big one."
Mom and I went this morning to go pick him up and the curtain was closed. They were checking him over and had him tied up to the machine checking his heart. He was having chest pains so they are keeping him overnight again.
So there you have it in a nutshell. Please continue those prayers, our little man still needs them. Thanks for everything.>>Daddy's Little Girl>>Believe51

Marie,
I hope you and your mom are comforted by obtaining extra information about your dad's condition. Sounds like the Dr is being cautious which is a good thing.
Praying for your father's recovery and continued strength for you and your mom.

My Dad was in a similar situation a couple of years ago. They opened up all blockages and he is doing fine now. He has been in hospital several times since for chest pains, but they were all false alarms. Hope your Dad will be fine soon.
Love
Jacqueline

Marie,
My Dad was in the same exact situation about 6 years ago. We thought we were going to lose him. Instead he recovered and the cardiologist became his regular primary care physician. In fact, when he died, it wasn't because of his heart, but because of a stroke and other health issues. His cardiologist had continued to monitor him through stress tests and other means and his heart continued to be in much better shape than others his own age.
I hope your dear father will have a good recovery from all of this. He will be in my prayers.
Alice

Dear Marie -
For most of us our fathers are VERY special people who offer support and love in our hard times. When it is that person who is at the center of the "hard time" we have to dog paddle on our own and try to muster some courage for that person. Double hard.
I think that seizure was a warning and the warning has been heeded. He should be up and around in short order. I have had the experience of having an inlaw and grandparent in the hospital at the same time. It sort of knocks you off your feet with worry!
Take those worries to your "mighty woods" and soak in some renewal from the quiet energy there.

Thanks for being there for me through many of the back to back, hardest times in my life. I should apply to work on a soap opera, I am still looking for work you know!!
Daddy is getting stronger and better by the day. I am so happy that we saved him from a severe heart attack. We still have not found the reason for the seizure since other things took priority. Hoping to get to the bottom of that one, until we find out we just pray no more are to follow.>>Believe51
