I have not done the 3-Day...but, my twin sister has done it the last 2 years in Boston since my diagnosis. If you go on to the 3-Day site, they should have recommendations for training walks. You basically do shorter walks during the week and longer walks on the weekends...with the longest being a Saturday/Sunday walk of approx. 18 - 20 miles each day a couple of weeks before the walk. If you follow the recommended schedule, I am sure you'll be able to finish. Good luck!

Hi,

I am thinking about doing the walk here in California in November. One of my co-worker's mother is also a survivor and she is walking. My most concerning thing is how to raise the funds. I don't have the means to come up with that much myself, medical bills and all. My other concern is that my onc ( who is against needless scans) just ordered a brain MRI for me because I had a dizzy spell and a few headaches.
Happy walking!
